Annie accepted Christ at an early age. She faithfully attended Church and remained an active member at Bethlehem Baptist Church working diligently on the Mission Board until she moved to Wichita Falls, Texas. Upon joining the Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church, Annie began her work for the Lord. She was a servant at heart, visiting the sick, helping others wherever she could, you would always find her present and accounted for in her service for the Lord.

After several years in Wichita Falls she took her family to reside in Albuquerque, New Mexico. There she worked as a Supervisor of Inventory, Shipping and Receiving for Pioneer Wear. All who met this beautiful lady began to love her. Her home was always a place of refuge. Her door was always open to everyone. It was warm, friendly and comfortable. Mrs. Sweet became "Grandma, Me Maw and Granny" for many. She raised her children to fear the Lord and she took them to Sunday School, Baptist Training Union, sometimes three o'clock services and always had them in the choir whether they could sing or not. She took her post and became President of the Women's Mission of Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church. She was a proud woman who loved the Lord and has left a legacy for all of her love ones.

When the nest became empty and her girls had moved away, she then decided to move to Dallas "Oh Happy Day", Mom was with us again. She joined Gethsemane Missionary Baptist Church and again began to use her gift in serving other with the mission sisters there.

On Sunday, March 22, 2015 at 1:43 p.m., Ms Annie moved one more time and received her transformation into her heavenly home where she is already at her post serving. "All Glory to God"
